FST LEVEL 1
As the cable industy matures, the importance placed on the behavior of field service personnel increases greatly. Since the image of the cable television company is directly related to the behavior of field service personnel, it is imperative that a pattern of professional customer interactions be encouraged and be a required attribute of each installer.
The Level 1 Field Service Technition (FST) training offers employees both the technical and non-technical information that is essential in their day-to-day job requirements. Installers fullycertified through this program will have the skills and training necessary to be effective employees.
The class is based on an updated edition of the SCTE Installer Certification Manual. At the end of the three day course, a 50 question exam measures the student's knowledge and understanding of cable installation practices.
